MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age.
Keep that product out of reach of babies. If an accidental oevrdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control center.
USES: Vitamins are the buidling blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vtiamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products.
However, vitamin products may be best taken with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your docotr if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or phramacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prsecription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without docotr or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, conatct your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
Symptoms of ovedrose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products avialable. Some can be purchased without a perscription. Conslut your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a product best for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almsot time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.
Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moitsure.
Keep out of the reach of babies.
